Cols des Montets and Le Tour

After work I wanted to get in a quick few miles, but get back in time to take the family to dinner.  I opted for a (not as) quick (as I wanted) ride up Col des Montets.  (Did the truth slip out in that one?)  Damian told me the local record from another friend was 27 min.  I did 36 min.  Looks like I have a ways to go.

I wanted to add on just a litle more so on the way down I took a turn up towards another couple villages called Montroc and Le Tour.

This "fork in the road" photo should be familiar.  The left is the main road up to Col des Montets.  On the way down you can loop up and get a few more miles.

Road ends shortly on the right, making an easy decision to the left.

Montroc is a quaint little village part way up.

Not much of a road hazzard.

Parking lot for the ski lift at the top.  Looking down over the short 1.5 mile climb.  Nice little 4-7% grade with a rainy descent home.
